Meditating Frog ring
The name of the lotus pose (Padmasana) is from the Sanskrit Padma, "lotus" and Āsana, "posture". The lotus symbolises growth towards perfection and enlightenment as it is rooted in the mud at the bottom of the pond, but rises to shine as a beautiful flower in the sunlight above the water.
My highly detailed polished bronze/brass frog is meditating in the lotus pose in a forest, surrounded by nature, silence, birds, magical wood paths and positive vibes.
This design is a part of a set of 5 rings featuring frogs in different yoga poses.
Why frogs? Well, frogs are naturally flexible creatures, adapting to challenges and being able to deform and stretch themselves to different forms and positions. As a yogi and designer that forever wants do deform reality in new ways, frogs are a perfect way of expression.
